Notarizing documents is often required to be legally recognized in the state of Vermont. In other situations, notarizing a document is an optional step for authentication. The notary system helps prevent fraud by requiring a certified Notary Public to verify a person’s identity before physically witnessing them sign a document.
Each notary at Kramer Law, P.C. has their own seal and takes responsibility for having verified the signer’s identity and, in some cases, administered an oath or affirmation to the person signing the document. To act as a notary in the state of Vermont, each of our Staff Notaries must meet several qualifications, including passing a notary public exam.
Kramer Law, P.C. is pleased to provide Notary Public Services to residents of Brattleboro and beyond. To request an appointment with a certified Notary during regular business hours, please use the submission form below. Only appointment requests received via the submission form will be accepted.
